Scheduling Heritage in Malta

Scheduling is a cultural heritage tool to provide statutory protection assets. This article an analysis of the process securing immovable buildings and sites in Maltese Islands. Through qualitative interviews with key stakeholders – namely, professionals this study exposes shortcomings limitations existing local scheduling process. It proposes public as main stakeholder lists several recommendations put forward by participants for more inclusive methodology selecting sites. concludes proposing adoption modes rendering assessment assets less subjective, notably through prototype computation values based on value grid.
